We have collected here some frequently asked questions and answers. Should you not find an answer to your question we recommend you to try Haikko's Chatbot.

What is included in the room rate?

The room rates include accommodation, breakfast, free entry to the spa area (1,5 h) and gym, free parking. Spa visit must be booked in advance book your spa visit.

Please note! Age limit to the pool area, saunas and Spa Lounge after 18:00 is 12 years. Age limit to the gym is 12 years.

 

Where do I find the best room rate?

Book a room or a spa holiday package online on Haikko's own website - you will get the best rate! The room rates and prices vary according to availability, weekday and month. Many of our holiday packages are only available online.

When can I check-in? Where is the reception?

Check-in

Haikko has two separate hotel buildings, each with own reception. Please check-in in the Spa Hotel reception if you have booked a room there. If your room is in the Manor Hotel the butler will help you to check-in in the Manor Hotel reception.

Check-in is available on the day of arrival from 15:00. If you arrive earlier you can leave your luggage in the luggage room and why not visit the spa while your room is prepared for you. If the room is ready before 15:00 you may check-in earlier.

Please contact the reception  the day before your arrival in case you want book an earlier check-in. Kindly note the earlier check-in may cause an extra charge. 

When should I check-out?

Check-out
Your room is at your disposal till 12:00 noon on the day pf departure. Why not extend your stay and relax on your departure day? Enjoy your breakfast, visit the spa and take a nap. Late check-out is possible at 14:00 at an extra charge of 28 €. The hotel must confirm your late check-out in advance, therefore please contact the reception preferably on the day before your departure but latest on your departure morning. 

Early check-in and late check-out are always depending on the current availability. We do our best to fulfill your requests. 

 

How to book an extra bed, can I bring my dog and are there family rooms available?

Spa Hotel has Deluxe room suitable for families of 3-5 persons. There are beds for four persons (double bed for 2 persons and sofa bed for 2 persons). You can book Spa Hotel Deluxe room online here.

In addition, there are some Standard family rooms (so called Combi rooms with connecting doors) with beds for 4 persons in the Spa Hotel. The Manor Hotel has Classic and Imperial rooms with sofa beds.

Some Spa Hotel Superior double rooms can be equipped with separate extra beds (max. 1 extra bed per room). There is a limited amount of extra beds available.

Extra charges for extra beds and dogs:

  • Extra person/extra bed or sofa bed + 40 € /person/night (incl.access to the spa area and breakfast)
  • Baby cot 15 €/stay
  • Children in parents' room without their own bed: 0 €/ child 0-3 years, + 40 € /child 4-12 years/night (incl. access to spa and breakfast)
  • Dog in the room extra charge 30 € /room/stay, max. 2 dogs/room,  rooms allowing dogs are Spa Hotel double bedded standard rooms for 2 persons (size 17 square meters, no extra bed possibility)

 

How can I book a Spa visit or make a table reservation? 

We recommend you to book Spa treatments and visits, and make table reservations in advance online on our website. Our online booking channels show you the same availability as our sales office has.

Our online booking system will phase the Spa accesses to ensure enough space for each Spa visitor. Have a look at the alternative access times for later in the evening or on the next day. 

In case the Manor restaurant is fully booked, you might want to consider eating in the Haikko Bistro & Cafe or having a meal in your room. Bistro opening hours.

Can I get personal service in banquet or conference bookings, or in booking a private holiday?

Meetings, banquets and other group reservations (minimum 10 persons)
You can fill in a group booking request form and it will be sent directly to Haikko sales office. We will then contact you as soon as possible. 

Haikko sales office is at you service on weekdays. Have a look at the sales office opening hours here. Please note an extra service charge of 10 €/room may be added in private holiday bookings made by our sales office.  Response time to e-mail inquiries may sometimes be several days. Please note if you arrival date is within less than 3 weekdays, kindly book directly online or by phone during the sales office's opening hours (please do no book by e-mail). 

Haikko Chatbot answers to your questions 24/7 and our chat assistants will help you on weekdays at 8-17. Chatbot is to be found on the lower right corner of our website.
 

What is Butler Service?

Haikko Manor Hotel has Butler Service that has proven to be well appreciated by our guests. Butler Service is included in the Manor Hotel room rates. Butler takes care of the Manor Hotel guests upon arrival till they depart.

Butler ensures your room is ready and your prebooked in-room services are expedited. You may order a turndown service a nice cup of tea for the evening. Butler will assist with dinner, tour and transport reservations. You can also get information on Haikko's history and the Porvoo sightseeing. 

Butler will always reserve your private breakfast in the Manor Restaurant, and serve your coffee and sparkling wine. A delicious breakfast buffet is served in the next door dining room. Sparkling wine, wines, coffee and refreshments are served in the Yellow Room and in the Bollinger Bar. 

Butler Service is available for the Manor Hotel guests. The Manor Hotel has Classic and Imperial rooms, four suites and Kristalli room for meetings and private occasions for 12 persons.

Accessibility - in a wheelchair at Haikko?

Kindly inform us in advance in case you use a wheelchair. We will do our best in booking you the most suitable table or meeting room with wheelchair access. We recommend you to have your personal assistant with you to help you moving around. 

Haikko's surroundings and walkways are unfortunately somewhat challenging for wheelchairs. The hotel buildings are located on steep slopes, and the Manor Hotel was originally designed in 1910's and does not unfortunately meet all the accessibility requirements of today.  Some parts of the Spa Hotel and Congress Centre are not suitable for wheelchair access without special arrangements. The Manor Hotel has one lift and the Spa Hotel has two lifts. Ramps are not available for all staircases. 

Kindly note that our hotel does not have a 100% complete disability rooms. The Spa Hotel has one Superior twin room with partial accessibility. Please ask for further information in the reception.
