About Haikko

The previous Manor house was burnt on the new years eve 1910-1911. The fire was set by a drunk farm worker who had been sacked from his job. Professor Armas Lindgren designed the present monumental manor house, and the constructions works started in 1911.

Haikko - A Family Business

Haikko has almoust 60 year's traditions as a Finnish family business. Commercial Counsellor Satu Tiivola bought the manor with her husband Leo Vuoristo. Haikko opened its doors as the first manor hotel in Finland in 1966.

Arriving at Haikko

Haikko has made parking very easy or all Haikko's visitors - there is a large free parking area and several electric car charging points for an additional fee. There is also a bus stop next to the hotel main gate. Read more!
