Yoga classes are suitable for both beginners and more experienced practitioners. The classes combine body-strengthening and mobility-increasing asanas with meditation, relaxation, and breathing exercises. The classes are held in the premises of a spa hotel, and in the summer, when possible, outdoors in the Manor park.
Yoga is a nice activity for friends and also for couples to spend time together. Welcome to join!

Yoga retreat leader Susanna Maaniittu
All yoga retreats at Kartano & Spa Hotel are led by Yoga Porvoo entrepreneur and yoga instructor Susanna Maaniittu.
Yoga entrepreneur Susanna Maaniittu has studied to become a yoga instructor in the extensive Villa Mandala yoga teacher training and graduated as a yoga therapist:
“I have personally experienced the therapeutic effects of asana practice and, as a result, gained peace, physical and mental well-being, and courage to live life on my own terms.”

Yoga retreat at Haikko
Bring a friend or partner along and come to enjoy a yoga holiday! Enjoy relaxing saunas, healthy food, and gentle Flow yoga.
In the classes, a suitable combination of strengthening and mobility-increasing movements is combined with relaxation and calming down. Asanas, or poses, are done in sync with the breath, and the classes include meditation and relaxation exercises. Suitable for beginners and those who feel "stiff", without requiring any previous experience. However, the practice is not recommended for pregnant women.
Get dressed in flexible clothing and bring your own yoga mat and fleece blanket (if needed, you can also borrow one from Haikko).
Reservations from Haikko's website
Bookings for the yoga package directly from the website must be made at least 3 days before the weekend and free cancellation up to 3 days earlier. Find your desired date, click "search rooms" and choose your preferred room type. The package entitles you to Lapland Hotels Club points and membership benefits.
The yoga fee is paid on-site at the reception. We reserve the right to make changes to services and schedules.

The yoga holiday includes one spa visit and you can choose the time yourself. Remember to book your spa visit before arrival. Suggestions for the program are marked with * for the time below.

The fresh and versatile salad buffet and soup of the day at Spa Cafe & Lounge always include, in addition to a variety of greens, fish- and chicken-based dishes made from the best seasonal ingredients. The buffet also features a warm soup of the day, fresh bread, spreads, and coffee or tea. Special diets are accommodated.
