How is cryotherapy done?
The extreme cold treatment takes place under the supervision of the nursing staff in a -120-degree cabin, also known as a cold chamber. The treatment time is 1-3 minutes, and one can exit the chamber earlier if desired. Participants should wear their own swimwear and remove watches and jewelry during the treatment. The skin and hair should be dry, so please schedule the treatment before visiting the spa! We provide wool socks, felt slippers, and mittens for your use.
Arctic cold is a natural remedy for various health problems.
Cryotherapy is particularly suitable for individuals suffering from various joint and muscle pains. It also provides relief for those experiencing sleep disorders, stress, and atopic skin. The treatment quickly alleviates pain, promotes healing of inflammations, and thus accelerates recovery. The treatment can be used on its own or in conjunction with other treatments such as physiotherapy.
