Experience the magic of Midsummer in Haikko under the midnight sun of Porvoo’s archipelago. Manor & Spa Hotel Haikko’s Midsummer combines a traditional festive atmosphere, maritime nature, delicious flavors, and cheerful summer program for everyone.
On Midsummer, you can enjoy the heat of a log sauna, refresh yourself in the sea, and participate in a diverse program from park yoga to a flower crown workshop. Midsummer Eve culminates in traditional dances and an atmospheric Midsummer bonfire by the sea.
Summer Cruises on m/s Runeberg
M/S J.L. Runeberg cruises between Helsinki and Porvoo almost daily from spring to autumn.
Arrive in Porvoo nostalgically on board M/S J.L. Runeberg from Helsinki Market Square. The cruise also stops at Haikko's own pier, from where it is a short walk to the manor's services. In July, the ship also stops in Loviisa.

Albert Edelfelt studio and path
Albert Edelfelt, one of Finland's most famous painters, was once captivated by the maritime landscapes of Porvoo, which served as inspiration for many of his most beloved works. Edelfelt's studio is located just a short walk from the Haikko Manor and is open 7.5 –4.10.2026, inviting you to explore the artist's working environment in a unique setting.
The visit is crowned by the Edelfelt Trail, which runs along the seashore. Signs along the path guide you to locations where Edelfelt painted his famous works, such as Boys Playing on the Shore (1884). The signs present the artworks as images right in the landscapes where they originated, offering an experiential way to experience art as part of the surrounding nature.
Summer theater
Haikko's summer also includes a popular summer theater that brings entertainment to the manor's unique setting from 7.7.–5.8.2026. Porvoo's summer theater's hilarious comedy "Porvoo's Funniest Marriage – Give a Paw" offers thrilling twists, humor, and the light atmosphere of a summer evening.
Make the experience perfect by combining a theater evening with a delicious dinner at the Manor Restaurant and a relaxing overnight stay at the manor or spa hotel. Garden party in Haikko Manor park
Invite your guests to celebrate the most beautiful summer festivities in the green park by the sea at Haikko Manor. The garden parties held in the stylish event tent combine a relaxed summer atmosphere with the elegance of the manor setting. The garden parties are ideal for, for example, corporate summer celebrations, milestone celebrations, or in honor of shared achievements.
Garden parties are organized from May to September for groups of 30–100 people, and the party tent is always reserved for the private use of the group. In beautiful weather, the tent walls can be opened to the park views, and as the evening cools, warm fleece blankets are available for guests. If desired, you can bring a troubadour and your own sound equipment to the celebration. Alternatively, a microphone and Partybox speaker are available for background music. The party tent also serves as an alternative location for outdoor ceremonies during weddings held at Haikko in case of rain.
The serving at the parties is built around a plentiful buffet that includes fresh cold appetizers, seasonal delicacies, and estate classics, as well as grilled main courses with delicious side dishes.
