Summer Cruises on m/s Runeberg
M/S J.L. Runeberg cruises between Helsinki and Porvoo almost daily from spring to autumn.
Arrive in Porvoo nostalgically on board M/S J.L. Runeberg from Helsinki Market Square. The cruise also stops at Haikko's own pier, from where it is a short walk to the manor's services. In July, the ship also stops in Loviisa.

Albert Edelfelt studio and path
Albert Edelfelt, one of Finland's most famous painters, was once captivated by the maritime landscapes of Porvoo, which served as inspiration for many of his most beloved works. Edelfelt's studio is located just a short walk from the Haikko Manor and is open 7.5 –4.10.2026, inviting you to explore the artist's working environment in a unique setting.
The visit is crowned by the Edelfelt Trail, which runs along the seashore. Signs along the path guide you to locations where Edelfelt painted his famous works, such as Boys Playing on the Shore (1884). The signs present the artworks as images right in the landscapes where they originated, offering an experiential way to experience art as part of the surrounding nature.
Manor & Spa Hotel Haikko offers a complimentary glass of sparkling wine with a main course at Haikko when you visit the Edelfelt Studio exhibition Ode to Summer between 7.5.–4.10.2026 (value approx. 9,60 €). You will receive a voucher when visiting the exhibition. A non-alcoholic option is also available.

The area also has good walking trails and nature paths, and from the nearby observation tower, there are breathtaking views over the Porvoo archipelago.

Gentle movement, calm breathing, and the surrounding beauty of nature help you detach from the everyday and be present in the moment. A yoga session in the shade of trees and the freshness of the sea breeze is good for both the body and mind – just as it should be in summer.
Park yoga takes place on Saturdays 13.6.–8.8. at 16:00 on the manor grounds. Gathering at the Spa reception at 16:00, followed by a short walk together to the yoga spot. Instructor Lotta Tähtivaara. Free of charge.

Day Trip to Porvoo
Combine your spa vacation with a charming walk along the cobblestone streets of old Porvoo, enjoy treats in atmospheric cafes, or have a shopping moment in local boutiques. The old town of Porvoo is only 6 kilometers from Haikko. The journey is fastest by your own car, but there is also a bus stop nearby.
If you wish, you can also walk; the peaceful route to old Porvoo takes about an hour and offers beautiful river scenery along the way.

Lapventure pass terms
Collect five stamps and get the sixth night free. Stamp collection period from 25.5.–28.8.2026. Stamps are awarded based on the duration of stay, not the booking date.
Collecting stamps and using a full stamp pass requires Lapland Hotels Club membership.
A filled Lapventure passport entitles you to one free night for two people with breakfast in a standard room at a chosen Lapland Hotels location or Haikko Spa Hotel.
The free night can be used between 1.6.–14.11.2026 in Lapland hotels, including Lapland Hotels Sky Ounasvaara. In city hotels, free nights must be used between 1.6.–30.12.2026. Free nights are available in limited numbers per day.
The free night can be booked directly from the selected hotel or sales service at 016 3232.
The filled passport must be handed over to the hotel reception upon check-in.
Only rooms booked through Lapland Hotels' own booking channels via the online store www.laplandhotels.com or by phone from the sales service, as well as rooms booked through Haikko's own channel from the online store www.haikko.fi or by email varaukset@haikko.fi. Rooms booked through other booking channels and room reservations made through a travel agent do not entitle the holder to a stamp. Staff-priced room reservations do not entitle to a stamp.
Stamps that accumulate a free night cannot be earned on reward nights paid with points, free nights, nights booked with a gift card, nor corporate bookings.
The free night does not accumulate Lapland Hotels Club points, and a free night's stay does not come with a 10 € restaurant voucher.
